From the beginning of its activity in 1999, Convivium Africa has always worked in order to carry out projects in areas of high social impact, in very difficult realities, with special attention to devoloping Countries.

RWANDA

In October 2024 Convivium Africa Onlus participated in a humanitarian mission of the nonprofit organization WE CARE, adhering to a project that aims to improve the structure of the Kibaya school, in the district of Kibungo, through the construction of classrooms for the pupils, who are currently about 1,600.

The main purpose of the mission was to sensitively raise the quality of education for the children of Kibaya, to accompany them in their growth process.

This unity of purpose between the two organizations has proved to be very fruitful, with a view to a collaboration that has mutually enriched the realities of Convivium Africa and We Care.

We hope to continue on this path, since the goals that We Care has set match perfectly with the mission of Convivium Africa:

PROMOTION OF THE DIGNITY OF THE HUMAN BEING, BEGINNING FROM THAT OF THE LITTLE ONES AND THEIR FAMILIES, THROUGH THE ACQUISITION OF HUMAN AND PROFESSIONAL CULTURE AND TRAINING

CONCRETE HELP TO THE MOST FRAGILE

FOOD EDUCATION through a new micro-project that arose from the observation that the meals (often the only ones of the day) of the schoolchildren are always the same: rice and beans; this results in a nutritional imbalance that is highly detrimental to children's health and life expectancy.

Thanks to this new project, supervised by an experienced nutrition biologist, and through readily activated fundraising, more substantial and varied meals, especially in terms of protein, can be offered at least once a week.
